Everlasting Flowers Workshop (Sat 12th Apr)

£56.00

Cutting, Drying and Making with Flowers
Sat 12th Apr
The Plant Room Garden Studio, Saltaire
Timings: 10.00am – 12.30pm

This workshop is part of our spring series of botanical studies workshops celebrating nature and creativity. In these sessions participants will be given time to study and learn new skills from creatives, artists, designers and horticulturalists.

Flowers can be fleeting but by drying and preserving, their beauty can be extended and enjoyed. We love to share our learned knowledge so please come and join us in our new garden studio in Saltaire for a creative learning and making session.

This workshop gives you the knowledge and time to understand the processes and techniques we use in floral harvesting, drying and making. As well as being guided by us we will also give you the time and freedom to explore and play with the potential of using dried flowers at home. Learn to make small dried bundles, wreaths and beautiful cloches to give as gifts or display in your homes.

The workshop is a mixed level group and is for everyone. You don’t need to bring anything with you, as all materials that are needed for the session will be provided. As this workshop is held partially outside it is recommended that you bring warm clothes.

Numbers will be purposefully kept to a minimum for your comfort and wellbeing.

The session lasts 2.5 hours and gives you plenty of time to learn, explore and be creative.

Limited spaces available. A minimum of 4 bookings is required for this workshop to proceed. We will contact you closer to the time if ticket sales are low.
