Flower School - Wedding Flowers Workshop (Sat 5th & Sun 6th April)
DIY Wedding School
Saturday 5th - Sunday 6th April
The Garden Studio, Saltaire
Timings: 10.00am - 3.00pm
This workshop is part of our flower school Gather series and is designed for flower lovers and wedding couples who want to make their own displays and wedding party flowers. This whistle-stop weekend course gives every participant dedicated creative support and guided tuition with a sustainable approach to floristry practices.
Making beautiful wedding flowers for your DIY needs, the weekend activities will be evenly divided across the 2 days and focus on Wedding Party (day 1) and Space Design (day 2). On Day 1 we will guide you in understanding the skills and processes involved in making bridal bouquets, buttonholes, flower crowns and flower clips. Day 2 will cover different elements of table decoration that include bud vases, flower bowls and standalone arrangements.
As the workshop is evenly split we do offer an option to book onto individual days however the full weekend is offered at a discounted rate.
What’s included? … We provide all the materials, flowers and floristry equipment that you might need to learn. We also will provide fika cakes and refreshments throughout the day and a light vegetarian mezze lunch to enjoy. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary needs.
Do you provide accommodation? …. We don’t offer accommodation unfortunately however if needed we can supply a list of local hotels, b&b’s and holiday rentals.
Limited spaces available. A minimum of 4 bookings is required for this workshop to proceed. We will contact you closer to the time if ticket sales are low.
